Self published author Tom Rent announces the release of his first two books Comical Captions Books 1 & 2.
Comical Captions are small and affordable coffee-table sized gift books containing large black and white vintage photos matched up with hilarious and witty captions. The books are designed to be very entertaining and suitable for all ages. No racy images or foul language are used.
Each and every captioned photo usually draws a deep laugh from just about everyone who sees them. Its magical in a way. The photos themselves are not particularly funny, but the author dreams up a killer caption for it, it really is incredible how funny it is.
For instance, says Tom, I found one image where a nice lady was posing on the grass, but to me it looked like she was growing right out of the lawn as you couldnt see her legs. The caption took advantage of that quirk I wrote Though Ralph had a lawn service, Wild Dorothy kept sprouting up each spring.
Ive always had a good sense of humor and I was born with a witty mind, says Tom. Ive also always loved to write and do some sort of publishing. These books brought these things together, and it has been great seeing the books sell so well, including at Amazon.com
